Angela, thank you for being a tough prosecutor, and caring for the citizens of Jacksonville, as well as victims. I myself look forward to you restoring integrity to the state attorney's office, and creating a synergy between the sheriffs office and SAO, and allow our great officers more latitude to enforce law more effectively.

"Goodness gets a seat. One who sees something good must narrate it. And what I said in 1995, Angela Corey, Assistant State Attorney, worked diligently with the State Attorney on my son's case, James Lee Coon Jr. A Florida Congressional Scholar Student at UNF who was carjacked, kidnapped, robbed murdered and missing for months must be repeated. Angela Corey's support and professionalism in working on this case was awesome. She is committed, more than qualified and has compassion with accountability. When she sees something that is not legally right, she will use her knowledge in doing what is right to change it."

"It was then in 1995  when God showed me a vision that I shared with her to prepare herself to run for State Attorney after he retires. Join me in helping this vision become a reality. Vote Angela Corey for State Attorney."

I endorse Angela because she is aggressive in prosecuting the criminals who have and are ruining the city that I love. I live in Baker County, but I grew up in Jacksonville and am a 1971 of Ribault High. My family lived and worked in Jacksonville from 1954 until 1992. Angela was a prosecutor when I was employed with the JSO as a bailiff from 1981-1988. I have witnessed her skills and commitment as a prosecuting attorney; I am convinced she is the next State Attorney.

Special thank you to Office J.J. Dixon-Edwards, President of the Jacksonville Brotherhood of Police Officers. I am so thrilled to have their support in my campaign.

During my 34-year career in criminal investigations, I worked with many fine state and federal prosecutors from Key West to Pensacola and beyond.  Among those I hold in highest regard is Angela Corey.

Speak with Angela for just seconds and you can tell she is an intelligent, talented, and very aggressive prosecuting attorney.  Step into her office and you immediately learn that she is a family oriented, sensitive, caring human being. Her office is filled with photographs, mostly of children. Many of the children belong to her large extended family.  Many are the children of her co-workers and friends.  Some are victims of crimes she has prosecuted!

Angela feels the hurt and the damage her cases' victims have been forced to live with.  She then draws upon this for motivation which leads to a "fire" in her case presentations.  This "fire" has caused more than a few defense attorneys and their clients considerable stress.  A victim's race or socio-economic status is inconsequential to Angela.  A victim is a victim.and whoever is responsible for hurting them needs to pay via the courts if at all possible.

When you read that Angela is respected by law enforcement, this is not campaign rhetoric.  It's true!  I am speaking now from both personal as well as shared experiences with peers.  Law enforcement and prosecutors do not always see eye to eye. The difference between Angela and some other attorneys is that after debating the merits (or lack thereof) of a case, I walked out of her office respecting her and I knew that she respected me.

The Fourth Circuit desperately needs mutual respect between its State Attorney's Office and law enforcement now more than ever before. With Angela's leadership this is both possible and probable.  Combine this with her passionate commitment to public safety and removing dangerous people from our streets, and you have the makings of a fine State Attorney.  Then consider her commitment to her family, her friends, and her faith combined with her empathy for victims.  Now you have a really good person willing to fill that position.

I'm voting for Angela Corey.

Mr. Doyle Hall (Retired JSO)

Dear Angela;
May the Lord richly bless you during this campaign, and after you are elected. You have my support and have from the start. We have known each other for over 25 years. I have always considered you a tireless champion for law enforcement during your tenure as a ASA here in Jacksonville. I am proud to support you in this effort.

Your Friend,
Doyle Hall (JSO retired)

Mr. Pat Geer

We look forward to having Angela Corey back in the Jacksonville State Attorney's Office where her previous service was outstanding. Angela is tough on crime, supportive of victim's rights and cooperative with law enforcement. Aggressive prosecution of criminals in support of law enforcement is critical to the reduction of violence in our community. Angela Corey will provide effective leadership in this office to accomplish this reduction.

Angela Corey is definitely a blessing to so many victim's families. As a member of one of the many families she blesses, I want to do whatever I can to assist her in winning this election.
