Angela Corey Picks Up 25th Endorsement

Endorses State Attorney Candidate

Jacksonville, Fla., June 13, 2008 – The Atlantic-Neptune Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 107 announced on Thursday they will endorse Angela Corey for State Attorney in the 4th Judicial Circuit.

“Procuring the 25th major endorsement in my bid to become the next State Attorney is a milestone for me and the campaign,” said Corey. “I am very proud of the fact that so many diverse groups have reviewed my qualifications and believe I am the only candidate who can restore justice in our neighborhoods."

Corey said it is an honor to be supported by these organizations who recognize that her strong prosecutioral record and desire to treat everyone fairly will bring welcomed change to the State Attorney Office.

Corey’s 25 official endorsements include all three Sheriffs in the 4th Judicial Circuit. She also has the endorsement of many of the Police and Firefighters’ unions on the First Coast, the Northeast Florida Builders Association, several unions, and the Duval Republican Party. These organizations all agree Corey is the right candidate to lead the State Attorney’s Office, prosecute criminals and restore justice to our community.
