Angela Corey to teach United States Naval
Criminal Investigative Service Agents

State Attorney Candidate will teach
Cold Case Homicide course at Camp LeJeune

Jacksonville, Fla., May 19, 2008 – On Tuesday, Angela Corey, candidate for State Attorney, 4th Judicial Circuit, will take a break from the campaign trail to teach a Cold Case Homicide course at Camp LeJeune in Jacksonville, N.C. Corey, who was invited by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service Headquarters in Washington, DC is an expert on Cold Case Homicide and Search and Seizure procedures.

The NCIS course falls during a busy time of the political campaign season, but Corey felt the chance to once again offer her expertise, leadership and knowledge to NCIS agents far outweighed missed campaign opportunities.

“I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with these young men and women who are there to enhance their investigative techniques,” said Corey. “I've assisted the NCIS in this training several times before and the experience is one of the most rewarding aspects of my career thus far.”

Corey will return home on Thursday and resume her quest for the office of State Attorney.
